High-Traffic Luxury Lobby Parquet Rehabilitation – The Madrid EDITION Hotel

Work performed: Technical treatment, deep sanding, and surface protection of large-format oak parquet across the main entrance lobby, reception area, and primary circulation corridors of The Madrid EDITION 5-star hotel.
Space requirements: Reception areas endure uninterrupted 24/7 commercial footfall, heavy rolling luggage, and continuous international events. The flooring required maximum mechanical resistance alongside an ultramatt, natural tactile aesthetic matching the hotel’s luxury interior design.
Technical treatment & finish: Dustless cyclonic sanding removed surface scratches and footfall micro-abrasions without thinning the usable wear layer. We applied Bona Traffic HD 2K commercial waterborne polyurethane with rapid 12-hour curing protocols, allowing overnight handover without service disruption.
