Single-family home in Pozuelo de Alarcón · Geometric floor in four solid woods
Work performed
Solid parquet tiles made in our workshop and installed in a house in Pozuelo de Alarcón.
Floor composition
20 mm-thick tiles made from four combined hardwoods: European oak, maple, wenge and jatoba, creating a relief-like 3D effect.
Installation and finish
The tiles were glued directly to the screed with an elastic silane adhesive. After installation the floor was sanded and finished with a natural matte waterborne varnish, which protects the wood without altering the color contrast between the four species.
