Fernán Núñez Palace represents one of Madrid’s most significant neoclassical and romantic palace complexes. The wood floors in its noble reception rooms feature intricate geometric marquetry combining European walnut, oak, mahogany, and contrasting exotic inlays.
Our intervention adhered strictly to reversible heritage conservation guidelines: stabilizing loose inlays, cleaning oxidized historic resins, and applying micro-crystalline wax and non-yellowing protective sealers that honor the authentic patina.
